Who we are
Quidflo ("Quidflo", "we", "us") runs the Quidflo website and application at quidflo.com. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a hashed (not readable) version of your password.
- Information you enter in the app: accounting information you choose to add as the product develops.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, including your email address.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and server logs created when you use the site, and the cookies described in our cookie policy.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To create and run your account and provide the service (contract).
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems (legitimate interests).
- To reply to your messages and give support (legitimate interests, or contract where you are a customer).
- To meet legal obligations, such as record-keeping (legal obligation).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run Quidflo, such as web hosting, content delivery and security (for example Cloudflare) and email. They process data only on our instructions. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for legal, accounting or security reasons. Server logs are kept for a short period.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To use these rights, email [email protected].
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
We use measures such as encrypted connections and hashed passwords. See our security page.
Changes
We may update this policy as Quidflo develops. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
